I can't quite put my finger on this one...
I am having a leaning out issue I think might be related to my IAC or coolant temp sensor. I know I am going real lean since I'm watching it happen on my wideband.
I'm not getting any codes, so I don't know exactly.
Can the d-check mode tell me whats happening if it occurs while in d-check mode?

What RPM and boost level are you going lean? What throttle input are you giving during all this.
More details would be helpful.
and no I don't think the d-check mode will do anything to tell you what's going on.

It isn't rpm or boost dependant, it just happens. I only am seeing it in closed loop when the fueling is dependant on the various sensors. thought it might be related to the coolant temp sensor because it seemed to happen just before it reached operating temp, about 20* before normal on my temp gauge, where normal seems to be around 190.
But over the weekend I unwired my fuel piggyback and the problem hasn't been as severe, but since I'm running very rich now the car is chunky feeling anyway and I'm not sure if its happening anymore. Thankful gas is cheap tight now.

Again.....we need more information.
You didn't mention anything about a piggy back controller previously or what mods you have done.
The problem may not be rpm or boost dependent, but there should be some form of trend you're seeing.....it occurs around here type of thing.

Sorry for the vague posts, but I'm hoping I got rid of it. Spent the last few days cleaning things up. Going over every splice/connector to make sure I was getting good electrics.
I moved the knock sensor for the hell of it, up to a flat spot near the bellhousing, sort of under the coolant tank. Cleaned MAF, wiped off crank and cam sensors, and made damn sure there were no intake leaks after the MAF.
