coming from...02 wrx wagon

going on... 1993 legacy ss

SPT pink springs with Group-N tophats and Koni inserts (prefer to sell as a set!): Asking $800 for the whole shebang. Paid over $1200, total. I'll throw in the Turn-in concepts travel extenders (which I didn't end up installing) as well. Less than 15,000 km on this setup.

thanks

it will fit, however you will need different top mounts in the rear. your stock ones or GC impreza will work.

Yup, I got wrx sedan struts though on my wagon, the rear top mounts are different. Everything else works 100%. Also for the brake lines, I just tie wrapped it to the strut in a X to the brake holder spot.

so if i buy this set i will not need to buy anything else?, just use my stock top mounts in the rear?

also going from a wrx wagon to a legacy sedan, will that effect ride height compared to if it was to come out of a sedan?

last question, if i don't go with this setup and i was to do more of a basic swap, could i use a specific wrx stock strut and just buy the group n top hats for the front?

sorry for all the questions, i'm just starting to learn about suspension. much appreciation for the answers!

The front will be fine, the rear might sit a BIT higher. I doubt it though. I used sedan struts on my wagon and my car sits really good, the rear does not sag at all. Only thing I noticed was the wrx top hat made the rear sit lower, and my stock top hat makes the rear sit higher. (i still can't use wrx top hats unless i redrill the holes though). Install them though and see how the rear sits. Don't be discouraged the first time you drop the car either. It will need to settle a bit when you drive around.

now if the springs that come with this set are tapered in the rear then i will not be able to use my stock tophats right?
