Hey guys. Trying to figure some things out, want to see if the door cover is on for the fuel pump lol. How do I raise the bottom part of the rear seat? I know with my wagon it has a release, but can't find it with this car. Also I noticed on my dash it does not tell me when the trunk is open. Is that normal? Thanks!

No one has a sedan and can confirm if there is a indicator on the dash with a sedan to tell you the trunk is open lol.

The indicator light comes on when my trunk pops open.
In the sedan, the fuel pump access door is through the trunk. Take the carpet and the plastic organizer out and you will see the access ports.
The rear seats don't fold unfortunately in the sedan, the bottom portion is just held in by two bolts secured flush to the floorboards from the cushion.

LOL, I didn't answer because my car's been dead for so long that I couldn't remember if it had a trunk indicator light!
FWIW, my rear seat does indeed fold down. I dunno if all SS rear seats do though...I think mine came out of a '93.

My rear seats fold and they have a lock switch. Just needed to confirm the bottom part. Ok perfect thanks!
Now I am wondering what is up with my trunk indicator. The switch for the light in the trunk works though.

I have a 91' SS that is "electrically sound" and I can confirm that there is not a trunk indicator light. Also my seats fold down, split 60/40, and have locks on them to prevent the valet from getting to the trunk. If I open my trunk there is a valet lockout switch that prevents the trunk from being opened from the inside of the car. Hope this help clear some stuff up.

The seat backs fold down, my bad.
I was talking about the bottom seat cushion.
In newer gens. that part pulls up so you can lay the seat backs down nice and flat.
The trunk doesn't have a light afterall. Didn't even realize that.
