Found a stock 02-03 WRX momo steering wheel for super cheap.

Would it fit a 92 Legacy?

It will fit but you won't have an airbag. You need a different clockspring and rewiring the harnass to the bag is a DIY only -shops wont touch it because of liablity. Basically a huge PITA. But I think horn is plug and go...

Well the car currently has a JDM momo steering wheel which doesnt have an airbag. But its not mine and instead of getting a stock steering wheel Id like to get something different and I found that wrx one for cheap.

I did a search but Ill do another just incase I missed something.

Whats a clockspring?

It's the interface for the wiring through the steering column and helps align the wheel.

Got to scoobymods.com for a write up of installing the wheel you are thinking of (WRX Momo into Forester but same thing) but when you tear into yours you it won't look like that one because we have older cars and stuff is different.

Actually the old Momo wheel you have is perfect at IS a JDM fit for our cars. They come up for sale a lot and you can wire them with a horn pickup so they are just like OEM.

Good luck!

Well I must have missed something cause I just did another search and it will fit.

Would there be any issues with the airbag if I didnt hook it up?

It will fit in that it will bolt up but if not fully functioning is it fitting? And then if you are cool with that then o.k. The air bag in the wheel won't function and adds lots of bulk to the center of the wheel and makes it heavy but some people really like that wheel so if that's you then go for it. For me if it can't be made to function like it was meant to then it's not a done deal. Cheers,

Yeah thats something to think about for sure because it would just be a airbag that does nothing.

Thanks Adam

I have a WRX momo wheel on my car. It has the dummy cover instead of the airbag. I had to custom wire the horn and cruise control. I can get you pics if needed
