Long story short, I was driving my friend back to his apartment at 1:30am when I saw a light in the center divider. Turned out it was a car that hit a light pole... and the light pole was in my lane. Surprising how fast 50mph is... I swerved and braked hard but couldn't make it all the way over and ended up running over the damn thing. Both my driver's side tires are blown, and the wheels are toast. Think my front suspension is shot as well on the driver's side, as the wheel sits MUCH farther back than it did before. Airbag deployed, and my other friend hit my car from behind too. Sigh. Terrible night.

Pictures will be up later, my car is currently in front of Frank's Irvine Subaru awaiting estimates.

Sounds like you bent the control arm (A-arm). That's a real easy fix. Good luck.

Yup. And the struts are shot too... and the wheel bearing on the front... and the ball joints.

No worries though. It's expensive and not what I wanted to happen, but I'm using the opportunity to get H&R Sport Springs and KYB GR2's as well as finally put tires on the nice 05 WRX wheels I've had sitting in the garage since the spring. Trying to make the best of things.

I'll have pics up when it's all said and done... wish me luck! She should look and drive even better than before the accident
