rear seat interchange

Looking in to putting some new seats in my car (sedan, 90 N/A). The local yard has a set of front seats (leather) from a 98 legacy that I know will bolt in to my car, however they also have a rear bench from the same car (sedan). Will this seat fit without major modification?

I don't think the rears will bolt right up like the fronts will. Hopefully someone will prove me wrong though.

well, i figure as long as the general dimensions are the same I can always move/modify brackets to make them fit. If the width or height is drastically different that could be a problem. I'm not optimistic though.

I can't say for sure but my 91 SS came with 02 or 03 WRX seats from and rear. So there's a good chance they'll fit but I don't think they bolt in right. Or there's some sort of modification the guy who owned the car before me mentioned that I can't remember.

Well, turns out it was actually a wagon, but I'll still try and figure out if a sedan back seat would fit, guess I need a friend with a 98 sedan
