I'm impressed with the TurboXS unit. A little bit more expensive, but works well!

mbc not at all the chip tunes the ecu to run 14/17psi with the stock bcs
fuel pump highly recommended but not necessary.
with the td-04 and stock injectors/maf you "shouldnt" be running more than 12 psi anyways (which is pretty much fuel cut point)
i highly recommend the chip just make sure you have all the requirements stated on the site met before putting it in to avoid over stressing the turbo/engine.

come on guys, you dont need a stage anything to go beyond fuel cut...at least to 16 psi anyway.

But atleast the car will run better. Although I have no evidence. Also im pretty damn sure you are maxed out at 13psi after that the stock MAF sensor is maxed out as well as injectors anyway.

I was running 15 PSI on a VF39 and 440cc injectors for about a year. Worked well, although it maxed out the MAF so the injectors just dumped fuel under full boost which took away from how much power it was making.

yeah i ran 15 psi on a td-04 on stock injectors for about a year doesnt mean it was a good idea
the fuel economy was SHIT power was decent but nothing compared to with the chip even in normal mode (so 1 psi less is making noticeably more power) and i'm getting close to 500km to a tank in the city...
aand by the end of it one of my injectors was burning out (when the maf maxes out the injectors go wide open they are not meant to be open for longer than a split second so sometimes if they go open for a longer time they just stay open, that CAN not will, cause hydrolocking and at 15 psi at 5000rpm that would definitely mean at least a bent rod maybe even worse.
there was a very similar discussion not long ago here
