I enjoyed this quote: http://jalopnik.com/5376254/tetsuya-tada-

And this video, which probably has faked engine sound: http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/06/vide ... turismo-5/

This thing should get pretty good fuel economy and power (per liter) with DI. I'm looking forward to it more than any Subaru currently on sale.

I thought this got kiboshed. Is it back on?

I love the idea. Especially since I am under the impression that the motor has a short stroke and a high rpm limit

but i don't really like the design, aesthetically

Just want the drivetrain. Perfect if it has DI. Come on, ricers, let's start drifting them into walls as soon as they start selling them!

I think it looks sharp. I'd drive it, even if it's the color of a monkey's ass.

Super excited, particularly for the convertible trim. If/when it actually comes out stateside, I'll be trading in my STI.

It actually looks like an interesting car on its own. Hope it comes N/A with DI as there's only so much power a sub 1500 lbs vehicle needs before it's unusable for anything but scaring the shit out of me. N/A would be perfect. With a taller rear end and the low-weight/low drag shape I should have no trouble killing Priuses/Prii in mileage. I wonder what the gear ratios will be. I hope there's a tall top. Finally something I prefer to the F20C! But dammit, I need to figure out which one since I need to design this chassis and I'm not sure I can allow for both.

Ya this car's going to be rad it's a subaru built drivetrain N/A 2.0L subaru motor with 200hp. It's subaru helping out toyota build a sports car since they dont have anything sporty, but toyota's designing the cosmetics. This car's gonna be awesome, it's too bad it's not coming out till 2011.
