92 22T into 95 Leg

i got my hands on my donor car a 92 2.2turbo legacy. i plan on putting it into my 95 OBD2 legacy. im pretty sure i can tackle the obvious mechanical to get it in there im no stranger to engine swaps but the electrical im concerned with..
is it best to?
-swap the 2.2 harness
-merge the turbo harness with my NA harness
- is it possible to use my na harness with some sort of piggyback
i know the turbo car is a cable diven spedo where my na is electrical. my car was an auto and i converted it to a manual.
i havent done anything with either harness (besides my manual conversion) so im open to suggestion. i would like to keep the OBD2 system if possible but i guess im ok if its gotta go. thanks for any imput!

Hmmm, I thought '95 Leggies were OBDI and that OBDII started in '96?

95 was a changeover year. My 95 Impreza is OBDI, yet I've seen one that was OBDII.

My 95FSM contains troubleshooting procedures for OBDI AND OBDII. Goofy!

To the original poster: it's been done, though does require a pretty good understanding of what's going on in the car electronics. I suggest you take a look at the following threads:

EJ22T in an Impreza. While not entirely relevent to your swap, it does provide a pretty good explaination of what to expect in your project

ok so ive read some things and trying to decide my route. i read the impreza swap with the harness merge and think ok i can do this i wont be driving this winter again though :( i also read on sl-i someone talking about using their stock 2.2 na heads and using a piggyback (greddy emanage ultimate) does anyone know about this? if im goin somewhere i dont wanna go please let me know lol. im wondering which way will be better performing/ more reliable ( i know its difficult to have both) thanks for any help
