We also need to share a map if someone doesnt mind. We have no idea how to start tuning this engine. Any help will be appreciated. Engine specs:

EJ22T
DOHC EJ25 Heads
TD04
STi yellow top injectors

If someone can point us in the right direction We would really appreciate the help. Thanks.

Do you have a wideband?

If not, don't even bother trying to tune it

No we are just trying to get it going so we can take it to the tuner. I know we have a common build and someone has have theirs dialed in with a map they could share.

Thanks.

I have maps laying around somewhere for 440 injectors and a VF39...but I doubt they would be of much help

We have the 440's a nd a TD04. Anything would be better than nothing. Would you mind emailing them to me please?

We took it to Epic Motorsports in Fayetteville NC who is an awesome Cobb tuner, but he couldnt do much with the P6 so I am going to try and take it to a Honda tuner hoping that the similarities between the P6 and a VAFC will be enough. No one seems to know anything about this thing around here.

Ok...STi yellows are 550s not 440s...so it will run way rich

You really ought to buy a wideband...it's just a good idea to have it running all the time anyway

edit: looks like I dumped the maps I had when I reformatted my computer

OK, we get mixed opinions on those. I know we need a wide band. It is on the list. A knock light as well. The car was taken to a professional tuner to be tuned. When we changed out the battery we lost the map and the tuner didnt save it. Just trying to get it going again so we dont have to fork out the mega 3 hour towing bill again.

Thanks anyways for the help.

Alright...quick injector schooling.

Pink sidefeed = 370cc

Dark grey sidefeed = 440cc

Yellow sidefeed = ~550cc

So how does the car run with a 0 map?

Thanks.

Off boost is OK, idle is good. As soon as you start to hit boost it hits fuel cut.

Well fuel cut isn't controlled by the PP6...so it's probably going rich, which you are construing as fuel cut

I'm sure it's running super rich...which would be fouling the plugs and washing your oil down too...so be careful with driving it too much

LOL, there is no doubt it is running super rich. It feels like fuel cut, but it could be just drowning out the spark I guess. We got the software thing figured out so I guess we will just start playing with number tommorow and get her going better at least. I think it will go down to another tuner in Wilmington to see what they can do. There really arent a lot of people around who use this EM. It seems like a good program though looking at the tables.

Yeah...a lot of people bitch about it, but I got it to work 100% perfect on my SS...and still get 25 mpg highway

JDM yellow sidefeeds are 480cc. So you need to verify where your injectors came from.
