ej22e to T piston ring problems/ rebuilding advice..

I'm doin a cheap ej22na to turbo build with heads and pistons being the major components being changed. Ofcourse with changeing the pistons I wanted to get new rings and a boardmember recomended topline as the place I should get them from as the dealer was way to high. I have compared turbo piston rings to n/a and the compression ring is thinner on the n/a piston. When I recived the rings from another boardmember who got them from topline they are of n/a spec with the thinner top ring. When I went to there site the part numbers are the same for n/a and turbo but the rings are definatley diffrent. Anybody have any experience with the topline brand rings? I will get exact measurements in a few but if I use these rings in the turbo pistons there will be slop!
Ring thickness:
Na 1st 1.20 mm
2nd 1.50mm
turbo
1st 1.50 mm
2nd 1.50mm
redline replacements
1st 1.20mm
2nd 1.50mm
Also the motor is pretty much torn down and changing the bearings wouldnt be much harder. As far as i know the motor runs fine i havent heard it run personally but everything seems ok so far so if i tear it down whats the likely hood that i could just put new mains and rods in it wothout machineing and be fine??
