when building a EJ22T block with 2.5 internals (rods, crank, and pistons) and 2.5 heads. what size of bearing should be used and for what engine 22t or 25? for both the rod and main bearings.

Are you using phase 1 or 2 25 crank? I'm guessing phase1
You want the bearings to fit the crank and be the correct thrust position for the block...position 3 thrust for ej22t
If you are using a used crank, I would recommend going .010 over bearings and grind the crank to fit properly. Sould cost 100 bucks for a crank grind at a machine shop.
If you are going phase2 crank, it changes what you will have to do.

LOGAN haha um I would say take it to a knowledgable machine shop (you did find one right) and talk to the guys who will be doing your machine work. They will know more about what need to be cleaned up and what will need to be oversized once they look at your block. Oh and are you doing the revtronix thing and putting usdm 2.5 turbo sized pistons in?

I ment about the piston size because revtronix bored out their block to accept ej257 pistons, well i can help you with the trans but it will have to wait untill we move, just got the house on 14th street today.
