EJ22T Rebuild?

I came across an EJ22T out of a '92 with a blown head gasket, around 200k miles and been sitting for about two years.

I'm curious if it would be a worthwhile investment to rebuild it or if I would be better off finding one with lower miles on it. It would be used mostly for daily driving and auto crossed occasionally. I've also considered doing some sort of a hybrid build with EJ25 heads from an '01 RS.

Also, if I'm rebuilding the engine, is there anything else I should do internally that's still somewhat budget minded? Such as maybe cams or porting/polishing the heads? I am not under any time pressure as I have other vehicles which I can drive, But spending $700 or $800 on pistons is not really an option at this point. However I would be willing to save for a few key parts if they would provide a decent HP increase.

And lastly, could anyone direct me to where I might find some rebuild kits? I found a Re-Ring Kit for about $500 on this website, but I'm not sure what else is available or if I'd need the full Main Kit which they don't offer.

Thanks,

I saw that one too.
Glad someone got it who can re-do it.
But would rather see it STAY in the car.

That's the one, haven't purchased it yet though, I'm just looking at my options first.
