Keyless entry relay wiring

So I,ve been trying my best to get a Clarion K20 keyless entry system up and running, but I can't seem to get the actuator I added to run. I've have two relays hooked up to what i believe are the correct lock/unlock outputs from the unit, but nothing is happening.
Here is the relay wiring diagram i used. (followed to the T)
and here is the harness pinout for the unit.
I am using the H1/5 green/black wire (Lock #30 common output) for the (-) lock output at 85 of the first relay and am using the H1/8 blue/black wire (Unlock #30 common output) for the (-) unlock output at 85 of the second relay.
The unit is hooked up to both power and ground and when the remote is pressed you can here the relays within the unit switching.
I have measured voltages at the relays and both 85 pins are constant 12V always.
Any help would be appreciated. I just can't seem to figure this one out. Thanks.

Have you tried energizing the actuator with battery voltage to ensure it is working?

um, your unit has the relays built in so you dont need two extra relays , that is your problem. Basically what you need to do is connect
Green/Black and the Blue/Black to the actuator. (These may be reversed based on how you install the actuator).
Violet/Black and Violet Get 12 volts,
Brown/Black and (Missing the wire color for the LOCK #87A) goes to Ground.
I'm not comfortable with the lock 87A missing on that sheet.
Look into that before you wire it up like I said.
your directions should have a door lock wiring section that says "wiring an additional actuator with this unit"

Wouldn't that be H1/6, just mis-labled?

There you go.

Nice! thanks alot magicmike. figured you'd be the man to know. i'll give that a try. the directions that came with the unit are very limited because they want it installed professionally. they referred to adding a separate actuator, but the instructions were in a dealer manual. pretty lame. thanks again.

no prob. did you get the dome light supervision part worked out? Thats the same deal, there is an on board relay for that too. That way when you unlock the doors it turns the dome light on for you until you put the key in and switch it on.

you know i haven't even started on the dome light yet. i've just been messing with getting the actuator running. i'm out of town now, but i'll get working on it when i get back. hopefully its smooth sailing from here on out.

okay, so i got everything buttoned up and working almost perfectly, but something weird is going on with the 12v accessory wire that i hooked up. i spliced the yellow wire from the unit into what i believe is the correct ignition wire (red wire, ignition harness), but it only works correctly if the head lights are turned off. guessing i tapped the wrong wire, but i dunno...

...nevermind red/yellow is the accessory wire. taped the wrong one.
