I'm wondering if there is a way to get rid of my "one coil per sparkplug" ignition, and fit an Impreza GT coilpack. Whats needed of parts? I allready have a coil and wires.

I think the individual coils have the ignitor on them. If this is the case, you may also need an ignitor.

You may have to swap or trick the ECU....not sure how that would all work.

hmm.. OK! A friend of mine gave me 4 coils from an Impreza GT. Wonder if i could use them if mine fails. Havent checked, but they dont look the same. But i guess if they have the same resistance it'll work just fine?

What is your engine out of? Which heads does it have?
