Hey guys, I bought a 190 walbro instead of the 255 because the guy recommended I get a manual fuel pressure regulator. Any difference between running a 190 vs 255? Car is stock. Why do people upgrade the fuel pump to begin with?

Did some research appears it would have been fine to just get the 255. What should I do?

In stock form, you really don't need it. The 255 lph just gives you a lot of room for future mods.
The stock pump runs 150 lph
What are you looking to do with the car. If you're looking to do any upgrades in the future, bigger injectors/turbo etc, I'd recommend the 255 lph.

Plan is to just run 13psi on stock injectors with revtronix stage 1 and intercooler on stock turbo. So realistically 190LPH is still a upgrade? Does it produce the correct pressure the 190 pump? Going to ask if I can get the 255 now if not ill just put the 190.

yea, if you can get the 255lph, might as well. You won't ever need anything bigger than that unless you go absolutely crazy for a rediculously built car. Never even heard of a 190, but if you can still get the 255, i certainly would in case you decide to go bigger in the future

The 190 was already shipped out before I asked him to change the order. Regardless new pump is in! No more noises can't hear the pump! WOOT! Now, I need to get my laptop so I can reset the ecu and check out the fuel trims. Before it would studder whenever I took off! Now seems good. Also now I need brakes ASAP! NO more pad material left so now I fucked up my discs and I need discs and pads!

I think I am going with EBC reds, but I might just get the same pads I got last time. Such a difficult decision $50 pads vs $100 pads......
