I am having a problem with my front passenger door lock, the lock is turning and locking when I begin to pull on the door release handle, so the passenger has a hard time getting out of the car unless your hold the lock on unlock and pull the handle. I took the door card off and I still can not figure this thing out. I am going to need some help with this. I am going to post a youtube video shortly.

i want to say awhile back i had a problem similar to that. i think what i did was replace the door handle (Inside) and it fixed it.

sounds like I need to take a trip to the junkyard. thanks I will try that.

The plastic pin that holds the return spring for the handle has broken. Replace it with a metal pin. A search should get you the instructions.

update on this problem. went to the junkyard and picked up a new lock for 10 dollars.
