I'm newby here and also Subaru newby too.
I've lived in Thailand and just bought a secondhand engine from Japan. I need to swap it into my VW Vanagon Syncro.
I belive that it is EJ25D because I found a sticker on timingbelt's cover. The pic is below



They told me that it took from Legacy AWD , right?

And yes, I have many many things to do with it.

However , I need manual for this engine ,espacially for ECU pinout.

It is not hard to swap the engine . I have many friends done that but it is hard to understand how it's work.

It was extreamly hard to find any pdf, pics, scan or any document for this engine. I tried and tried and tried many time many forum to find such a thing.

Please I need help!!!

Welcome to the BBS.

From the ECU pictures it looks to be a 1997 model year. You may be able to find someone with the ECU pins on http://sl-i.net/FORUM/

Hopefully someone else can chime in, but I think SLi would also be a good place to look.

pin 1 and 2 seem fine , but 3rd pin is different from above hint

I'm not sure that the "hand writing" on my ECU is correct.

The info you found is probably not correct for your ECU. The information posted on there is for the US version Legacy. You will need to probably ask and see if anyone has the JDM wiring info.
