Can't find tach wire for remote start

Tried the thread for it, it ignores the fact that you might have a manual. I'd prefer a wire in the engine bay to avoid some clutter, but I'm having trouble figuring out what would work. Any ideas?

There are three wires going to the ignition coil on top of the engine. Either of the outside wires will have tach signal.

Are you sure? I tested with a multimeter, and I get the same voltage when I rev as I do at idle, with both the outside wires

The FSM josh posted, must have the pinout you're after...

Ahh didn't even see that, I think that's the one I hooked it up to initially.
In any case though I figured out I'm having a different issue, for some reason I'm getting an error saying it's in manual mode but it's not...I'm tired of messing with it today though I'll look at it again tomorrow
EDIT: This thing is amazing, turns out there's error diagnostics for just about everything on it, for $60 this thing is impressive. There's a test to see why it shuts off(ie why it doesn't turn on because it shuts off before it starts) so I'll have to look at it when I have time, unfortunately it's memorial day weekend which means I won't have much time to look at it

Yeah, there is an engine rpm output on the ECU. I would tie into this wire/pin out.
