Warm weather electrical issues.

Helping a friend of mine with his wifes 90 n/a legacy. Cause it wouldnt pass DeQ. Running rough. Missing etc. Did some basic tune up stuff. New plugs and Air filter Plug wires. Ran better but was still missing on #3. Ended up tossing in a Diamond coil pack I had in my trunk and it was off to the races.

He brought up a couple other issues that he'd hoped I could help him out with.

According to his wife...

The sunroof controlls and Heater blower stop working if. 1) The engine gets hot. or 2) It is a hot day.

The day I was there neither worked the entire time I was there. The only thing that makes any sense to me would be a relay that was marginally iffy. but I have honestly never came across anything like that.

Any Ideas?

Does just the blower not work? Does it work at any of the speeds?

Not sure why it's an issue during hot...

Heater doesnt work on any speed or setting. infact the lights on the buttons dont work leading me to believe that the mode box isnt getting any power.

Check the connections going to the fuse box. I had a similar issue with no lights, can't shift out of park, no climate and not sure what else was not working, and it turned out to be one of the connectors going into the fuse box. I removed it and replugged it in, I may have also bent the contacts a bit and sprayed contact cleaner. So far so good.
