meter fuse short

so im having a problem finding a short. the meter fuse keeps blowing so i havo no hvac, auto seatbelts, windows, or guages. has anyone one ever encountered this problem. i also need some better wiring diagrams than my haynes manual provides if anyone can help with that. thanks

Take a look at the wiring diagrams and they should help in trying to diagnose the problem. Post what you find out and what circuit you narrowed it down to.

so i tracked the short blowing the #15 fuse to be between the F/B and the M/B. i found high resistance on the wire from con f pin 9 from the F/B to con f37 pin 1. so i bypassed the wire and power is going to all the fuses now. the windows and the blower motor are working but still no guages, seatbelts or heater mode selection. any one have any of these problems. thanks

I'm making a guess here without having looked at the diagrams, but it's likely that wire you bypassed is also tied into the gauges, seatbelts, & heater mode selector. If not, then you've got another issue somewhere
