So idk what's wrong with my car. When I start the car the check engine light stays on. Sometimes for just like 3-4 mins and sometimes until the car is at running temp. And then goes right off. Idk what that could be. I was thinking wire??? But idk if it could be something else instead..

Hmmm...is this a real request or just a bored spammer?

Look HERE on how to pull the check engine codes. ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THAT, come back and post it up...or even better SEARCH on what others have done to fix their issues.

This is real. But ok I did that I know what it says but the car runs tip top. It show fuel injector 2 and 4 bad so I got new ones and replaced. And it also had wastegate solenoid an pressure exchange solenoid bad. It a 94 turbo legacy. Would the cel just come on then just go off bc of those??

Sorry I shouldn't put more info about my car in the original post. It slipped my mind. I've never seen a CEL come on then just go off like that.

I moved your post in the Engine forum. Check the ECU for codes. Instructions are on my site.

www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/engine.html

Post back on what codes are stored.

ok it would be 11 42 44 45. so theres a lot of sensors bad i guess? but why would the CEL do that?

Not knowing what is past codes, current codes, or erroneous codes, now reset the ECU and then check the codes again after the light comes back on. Also, you could perform a d-check diagnostic and see if there is an "active" code that is currently being brought up.

How do you do the d-check diagnosis?

Don't get a used KS from a '90-94 Legacy as they are prone to cracking - I'd bet yours is cracked.

Get the upgraded knock sensor from a '95 - ? Legacy or buy a new one.

CLEAR the codes (directions in the same link above) before buying a new O2 sensor.

Yes - read THIS from the LC Library for reference......the better one is white vs gray.

Get the one meant for your car....it may be compatible with the 95, but get the one meant for the 90-94 Legacy.

Honestly....if you didn't have the problem prior to replacing the knock sensor, I would look at that. I really recommend Subaru OEM parts, especially for the knock sensor. If you have someone near you that you could borrow a knock sensor, or try and pick up a used one on here for testing purposes, that can help eliminate the knock sensor as a possible cause.

Since your problems weren't there prior to replacing it, I'd start there.
