Ummm... So today is pretty chilly about 25* and as I'm getting to work the temp guage rockets up. So i limp it to work, well coasting it haha. And pop the hood. Coolant is bubbling out of the tank on the side of the radiator (the clear ish one with the yellow cap) and its ORANGE?!?!?!?!!?!? WTF?!?!?!?! It was green when I put it in there.

So any idea what the hell happened? and what can I do to fix it??

Thanks guys! Miss all you, just been to busy to even think about the car except when it gives me trouble.

What color is the coolant in the coolant tank, not the overflow?

Sometimes the coolant in the overflow gets nasty and turns orange. I don't know why, but it sounds like you may have some other problem though.

Honestly.....there's really not much that is steel in the cooling system. It should all be aluminum.

I guess what I would suggest is drain & flush the system with water, and then fill with coolant.
