So, when you have an FMIC your cold side piping is pretty cold to the touch, what if your maf was reloacted to the cold side?

I know i saw someone on here do it and i couldn't find out which user via search... I searched for 5 minutes... i know it's probably not long enough.

anyways im wondering if it would be a bad idea to put it closer to the TB and ofcourse what else would have to be relocated; IACV and the "F" pipe plumbing right?

I'm pretty sure it's fine to relocate it but you want it to be in a place with the least amount of turbulence and you don't want it immediately after a bend in the piping because air travels faster on the outside of a bend than the inside of the bend. I think that's how it goes. Ideally you want it in a straight pipe.

What Kimo mentioned is very important, so if you do relocate the MAF be aware of where it goes.

Also, by moving the MAF, you're changing the setup to what's called a "blow through" MAF. I don't know all the issues related to this, however some MAF sensors are not designed to be pressurized.

Douglas Vincent is the one who has done the blow through MAF setup and he would have the most knowledge on what works and doesn't work, and what issues you may run into.
