Nice non-offensive sound

Finally with 194,ooo kms I have to replace my stock muffler on my 91
Legacy Turbo sedan.
I am interested in replacing it with a "more seriously-sounding"
muffler, but not one which will tell the neighbours when I get home
or leave a "hum" in my head after highway driving.
Can anyone advise me of a non-offensive free flow muffler, or is this
an oxy-moron?

Thanks in advance
Roy

Hey Roy! Welcome to the group!
Have you looked at the "thrush turbo" mufflers? I am also looking to replace
mine before Calgary Winter Rally.
OMP sells a nice looking muffler, dont know how loud though for $140cdn that
is stright through design. It looks well built.
I was going to go with the OMP but I decided brakes and more tires were more
important, I bought Brembo rotors and getting 4 more Toyos mounted on
Volkswagen rims.
