legacycentral bbs

Looking for one in good shape (no rust or anything beyond normal maintenance needed). Already modded is preferred. A/C must work and be R134a. Looking to spend around 4k, but would go up to 5k for one that is exactly what I am looking for. Thanks!

R134 didn't start taking shape untill like 1995, if I'm not mistaken all earlier legacy should use r12. Converting it to r134 isn't really ideal either cause if u were do it properly u would need to change every thing.

No, shemoves is right, later 1st gens came with r134 from the factory (ie. not retrofitted). I'm not 100% sure 93's had them but I'm positive 94's had them - I've seen them in the j/y. Earlier ones can be retrofitted to work with R134 - any competent shop can do that, but I suspect the price would be north of $200.

my 1993 has it. i haven't checked to see if it's an early, mid, or late year production run.

I had a '93 with R-12 that was converted over to R-134a and it worked well. It definitely can be done.
