In the brochure for the 91 " Touring Sedan " models it states that the 4EAT Turbo models are the "GT" and that the "RS" is only in 5MT, But I guess in NA were all just "SS"s

Also they showed a spoiler that was just a bit larger than the SS's, pretty sick. I should have just bought a stock JDM RS, probably would have got one for the same price as modifying my beater SS EJ20G, Black interior W/ Momo wheel. Dammit

You can just get that tinting spray or buy tint and apply it! I was going to do this until the disease of my SS

Also, if it's like the center strip on the wagon, which I'm sure it is, that center section is just acrylic. My guess is you can replace that center section with black tinted acrylic. If it's one piece, you'd have to remove the chrome strips, cut, and fit the new section in its place. To get the curvature, you'd have to use a heat gun and set up a simple mold to let it drape over as you heat it. If you wanted it to say "SUBARU" or "LEGACY" or "BEHIND ME IS WHERE YOU BELONG", whatever, you could print the font and size you want and use that to cut a mask. You'd of course mask everything but the letters (unless you wanted the body to be reflective and the letters not) and spray that chrome paint if you're cheap, or you could find what they use to make acrylic mirrors/plastic chrome stuff/get creative, which might be the same thing the factory used. Everything is reassembled with double sided trim tape. Sounds like work, but it's less of a pain of disposing of a body and there's no worry about getting caught.

sigh, i miss that leggy like you have no idea... that was the best piece of automotive history i ever owned...it was nice to have the experience of bringing it into Canada...love her like i did man if not better please
