fog light question

I want to add a set to our 94 wagon for street use. I notice that the lower part of the front valence in the corners has some pieces which look like they could be carefully cut out and lights put there. Would 95-99 factory lights fit in there? anyone know? thanks

I have the factory fog lights for my 97' LSi, and they have two bolts holes in front of the Bulb Housing that you use to bolt them to the car. Check to see if your car has those also. You may be need to use sheet metal screws to fasten them to your car.
I also have a 94 Imprezza Wagon and while I had my fog lights out, I did happen to check to see if they'd work with . It looked like they would, but I didn't cut anything out because I wasn't planning on installing them. By the way, the fog lights your wanting, are super bright. I have 100watt bulbs in mine (not legal for street use, but I use em anyways) and I love them. They're great for racin through the mountains.

...so do the 97' lights fit in that space I am referencing? I know that the fastening part is another matter.

I did measure them with a tape measure, and the space should be tall enough. However, the space on your 94' is a bit wider then on the Legacy's.

I think the space would be too small. You also have a very small space to work the mounting brackets. The cover pieces come off with a screw, and JDM lights are a perfect fit, but we don't have the mounting to make them work without serious modifications ( speaking from experience). I think a 2 inch round light is a big as you can get.

And, if legacy wagon, turbo or non turbo?

Oh ok, I thought you were talking about an Imprezza Wagon for some reason. As for why I thought that, I have no clue, seeing as how this is Legacy Central, not Imprezza Central.
