So I have a 93 legacy turbo ej22. I just did timing belt head gaskets oil pump, intake gaskets, plugs, wires, battery, rad., ect.ect.ect. It starts and runs just fine. Right when I start it I get a little white smoke. When I drive it around the parking lot it smokes like a siv.? It smells a little like fuel. It does not smell like coolant or oil, and there is not even a hind of blue smoke. The car did not smoke at all before the work was done. I read it could be a bad ecu ground,or cam sensor. Does that sound like it could be my issue?
Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?

White smoke is almost always coolant. Usually entering the system through the head gasket. Did you replace that during your overhaul?

Did you replace the head studs when you did the gaskets? White smoke is burning coolant 95% of the time. Replace the gaskets and head studs with parts from Subaru and make sure the head studs are torqued correctly. Also check to see if there's a crack in one of the heads.
