1995 Legacy AWD wagon 2.2 manual
My instrument light circuit has a short in it. A fuse lasts anywhere from a couple hours to a week. Problem began a year ago and has gotten worse in terms of how long a fuse lasts. (10A in location #9)
Has anyone had this? Any known causes?
(it's only a problem at night

)
thanks!
John

nothing aftermarket. Only a CD player in place of tape player.
No smells of plastic - most likely the fuse blows well before anything can get hot.
anyone know where I can download wiring diagrams ?

Thats what I was referring to.
Pull out the cd player and check for exposed wires on the harness. I'd remove the cd player and harness, then put the fuse in and see if it blows.
Good Luck
