As far as I know, Subaru only ever had 1 DIN and 1.5 DIN pockets, never a half din. You'll probably have to fab something up.

I'd take a 1.5 DIN as well. I have however seen the half DIN ones for sale on this forum before, they seem to be elusive tho.

half din would be news to me as well. those 1.5 DINS are the ticket.

I just sold two 1.5 DIN pockets. I'm fresh out. Keep an eye on this forum though, they come up every once in a while. You can buy one for about $36 bucks at the dealership brand new. That's what I did to get mine. Let me know if you want the part number and I will dig it up for you.

Still never heard of a .5 DIN, the best I've seen is people make custom .5 block off plates and sometimes sell them on here. I would think .5 DIN would be too small to be really useful for anything. Plus Subaru only had a few different stereo sizes and combos for these cars, I don't think .5 DIN was ever left over. Maybe a different brand of car had one at some point that fits?

Combo 1:
Base Stereo (1 DIN)
Pocket (1.5 DIN)

Combo 2:
Stereo/Cassette (1.5 DIN)
Pocket (1 DIN)

Combo 3:
Stereo/Cassette (1.5 DIN)
CD Expansion (1 DIN)

Subaru never made a 2 DIN stereo in this generation of Legacy, which means they never had to make a .5 DIN filler panel or pocket.
