a knock question

well, im bored and have time on my hands, figured i would ask this question.
so, my 22t makes a knock noise that is starting to get annoying. it occurs cold and warm and between 2000-3500 rpms at only 1/8-1/4 throttle input under load. i have researched and found that it could be a rod bearing, piston slap, or a bad crank pulley. it is bad enough that i can feel it in the floor boards. i am not new to the subie scene at all. this ss is my 4th ss and my 10th subie. i have never heard this noise in any of my subies so this is new to me. i have a brand new grimspeed crank pulley that i have not installed yet so i can not eliminate that possibility yet. any input from fellow 22t enthusiasts would be greatly appreciated.
