Are you looking for front and rear anti-sway bars?
There are a variety that fit, some with modifications/tweeks, others fit without any mods. Whiteline makes direct fit anti-sway bars. There are some Impreza and other Subaru bars that work with some tweaking.

What about ones from a 96 Legacy Outback wagon
if you're putting them on a 94 Legacy wagon? I believe
the rear sway bar fits, just not sure about the front.

I want to minimize cabin sway and increase perfromance along with that. I like what whiteline has to offer. Any specific model they make thats better for the money? I guess I can do some re search.

I've got the 18-22mm adjustable rear anti-sway bar, and I think a 20mm in the front.
If you go whiteline, there's really not too many choices for the first gen legacy. I'd also suggest getting the HD mounts for the rear if you have the funds.

Do they sell end links too? I think I have worn end links causing a slight rattle over small bumps. Thought?

Yes they sell end links as well, they have steel ones and aluminum ones.

I have been through about every different possible combination of swaybars for these cars and ended up with 22mm front and rear whiteline adjustables with kartboy endlinks. They are actually the biggest bars available for this car and I would consider going larger if it was available.
My old 93 legacy didn't even come with a rear swaybar and one of my first mods was new lateral links and an 18mm outback rear bar. that worked really well combined with the stock 18mm bar. Then I went to a legacy GT 20mm front bar and the car was flatter but I got more understeer out of it. Then when I picked up my LGT I drove it around with the stock 20/16 bars for awhile, then put on the 18mm outback bar, and then went to a 22mm whiteline bar set to soft. That was probably the most fun and best balanced setup I had and going to the 22mm front bar didn't get me as much of an improvement.
Anyway, it all depends on what you want out of the car and how much you want to spend.
with the stock 18mm front bar a 20mm adjustable rear would be a good and inexpensive setup
or you could find a 20mm LGT front bar for cheap and go up to a 22mm rear bar.
or you could buy front and rear adjustable bars.
also if you would like pricing on anything let me know.

So going over this web site I see that they only offer two fronts for the turbo model. Does another one of the rears on here fit?

there are a bunch of front swaybars that work on the turbo legacy and you can go all the way up to 27mm. the thing is that the biggest legacy specific rear swaybar is only 22mm. if you want to cut apart the rear spare tire well you can put the impreza rear bars on though

My question is which one of these will fit for the rear? Or which one do you reccomenf for the money?

Im looking into all the options as well now. I think I will be going with the 20mm BD LGT front , whiteline or equivalent 22mm rear and some aluminum end links all around. At least till I can afford a 22mm front and some coilovers. I have heard many great things about the endlinks , which is good considering they are like $260 for the set which seems a bit ribiculous for a bit of aluminum and poly.
So since the thread starters ?'s seem to be answered I might as well ask another pertanent ?
What are the best bars ? besides the anti-roll. Frame stiffening and such . They make so so many that if you bought them all you might as well of built a fully tube framed car lol.
Start with upper strut, fender braces, then ?
I ordered some TIC fender braces ( simply subie had none available at the time ) , but after discoveri g shortly after that my frame is slightly bent I decided I wanted a beefier one. GT Spec makes a really nice one but is 3x the $ . I did find one made by a Malaysian company called Ultra Racing which makes all sorts of bars for a GC8 chassis. Although the front mounting points seem to bolt up to nowhere I might just drill holes or weld it.
I was also considering a Megan Racing H-Brace for $70
Any thoughts ? Any help would be much appreciated !!! Thanks
Reid.

I've got the TiC front braces and thought they were well made.

I don't really buy into most of the aftermarket bracing stuff. Fender braces and maybe a cheap H-brace like you are considering wouldn't be bad. I'm still unconvinced strut tower bars are really worth much (I had a set on my last car), and any of the floor/trunk/underbody braces are pretty silly- Oh great, you braced one part of your trunk to another part of your trunk which has no effect on the rigidity of the body anyway.
Also the kartboy endlinks are a little less than you mentioned at $200 msrp a set.

Ya , I agree. If I wanted 20 bars , I'd built a fully tube framed car
Awesome , I'll stick to ordering those. Stiffen this bent piece up !!!
I've only driven it home in stock form . Not even gonna remember how a stock one drives

haha. Thanks guys . Hopefully straighten it out , get my new oem fender on it and get her sprayed !!!

I bought one of those Cusco braces for
my RS once. The kind that sits in your
rear tophats and bolts onto the floor.
Never tried it. I bet the triangulation would
actually help though. Shame it wont fit on
the wagon. I really gotta get around to
selling that thing.

The first gen legacy can use 2nd gen legacy rear sways right? As long as they have the endlink setup and not drop links?
Also I thought I read that you can run a Tribeca bar on a First Gen Leggy too.

The only thing I would note is whether the 2nd gen legacy has the hump in the bar for the spare tire well on the 1st gen legacy. I don't know whether it does or not, but that will play a roll in whether the rear bar fits.

it does, same bar for both. The front swaybar bushings on the 97+ GT are the newer style though.

How do you change the front sway bar bushings? I know I had to modified the outside of the 25mm energy suspension bushings to make them fit in the stock brackets on my 96 when I put the Tribeca bar on. Since the brackets that came with them don't fit.

if you have the old bushings you use whiteline part w0404-[mm], which come in 24mm which might work on a tribeca bar
if you have the newer bushings you use w0405-[mm]
if you have a tribeca bar and the new style mounts you can get 25mm bushings from a number of places that make wrx front swaybars like RCE.

I will have to give that a shot.
I have the older style mounts.

Speaking of older style mounts, Next time if I buy a Legacy it will be made past MFG Date : 10/92 !!!
After just looking on the Whiteline Website they don't make a 22mm Rear Anti-Sway for Legacy's prior to 10/92 !!!

Can't get any of the nice Aluminum Drop or C-Links, Only the Bushings. Guess that means you have to keep stock drop links and just replace the Bushings
Or change everything to the new style stuff's

20 should be plenty for the rear anyway.
