I came back from autoX today.. car was running fine..... 0.61 boost
and running strong... when i went back home on the highway.. WOT in
4th.. the car only boost up to 0.41bar in 3000-4000RPM... normally it
would be at 0.61 bar... i downshift to 3rd and try to floor again..
same result.. 0.41bar... i feel the lost of power and the turbo boost
up slower.. anyone have any idea whats happening? no check engine
light btw...

Also, i restarted the car and see if i get back the lost boost... no
luck.. still stayed at 0.41 bar.. i will see again tommorow morning
if the boost is back to normal. if not, i will try ECU reset.

Lost of turbo boost..!

I experience the same type of problem occasionally, It
will be fine, 8.7psi then all of a sudden it will drop
to around 6, (isn't 6 the default spring weight on the
wastegate?) and a couple of minutes/hours/days later
it will go back up to 8.7 psi again. I am thinking
that perhaps the solenoid may be going bad? But I have
no idea how to begin checking it.

I just reset my ECU... it still same at 0.38-0.41 bar... so it must
be something else... I think u are right Jay, the wastegate spring is
set at 5-6 psi according to Matt.... i will bring it to Subaru dealer
to see if they get any error codes.. but my check engine light never
came on...

Go to my website, I've got instructions how to pull the codes from the ecu, under the notes & tips section.
