broken sunroof clip quick fix

Man, for so many people to have the same problem I did sure outs the truth
about our sunroof. If it's the little 1-1/2 inch x 1/4 rectangular piece in
the track that broke off right where the screw goes thru, I used some kind of
epoxy to put it back together around the screw with a little washer under the
screw head. That was OK for a while then something else went south to where
I had to hold down the wind deflector as the roof went fully closed to keep
it from jamming. All on the right side too.

Mark Ward, you say roof liner comes out and goes back very easy ? That's a
surprise, all the roof liners I have seen coming down are like a big delicate
floppy piece of cloth that I wouldn't want to mess with. What's the deal, is
it all tacked onto one big pad like the sunvisors? By the way do you have a
drivers side gray vinyl or both side gray cloth sunvisors?

The liner is one cardboard panel. You take down the plastic panels on the
side pillars and panel is almost falls off. There is a hidden fastner in the
niddle at the rear window. Rubber trim around the sunroof and thats basicly
it. unplug the electrics, front left. 4 drain hoses, 5 or 6 bolts and it
drops out. My local wrecker had 3 complete sunroofs sitting there. I removed
it all my self in about 15 minutes.

Dave, do you not have any in autowreckers there?

I have the sunroof panel I have to take to work to weigh and get shipping
costs for. I also have the grey visors, vinyl ones.
FYI:
Seatbelt hight adjusters can be remove for single position bolt in.
