Today i went to the vancouver i-club meet... we went to mount seymore
for a drive... and to my delight.. while going up the mountain, my
boost came back to 0.61 bar!! 8.7psi!!! we were there for a few
hours, took pictures, talked.. etc.... when i came back down the
mountain, the car was still running at 0.61psi.. but the boost isn't
very smooth.. sometimes it seems like it pulls back a little bit...
then before i went home, went to favorite roads to do some testing..
for the first few corners, it was at 0.61bar. after a few corners or
so, coming out of a corner, it boosted up to 0.5-0.6bar.. then
suddenly cut back down to 0.41bar!!! arggh so mad!!!! now its back to
the old 0.41bar 5.8psi..

So.. anyone thinks this is most likely a wastegate solenoind valve
problem??

Nice to meet u too Mark!! Now, don't wear out those Toyo winters and
u would have to use summer tires in the rally!!! hehe...

Do u know if Aldergrove wrecking is open on Sundays? I thought the
meet would be short today and i would go right after the meet to get
a new boost solenoid valve.... but the meet was longer than i
expected, so can't go.. Also, do u reccomend to get a used one.. or a
new one which cost $203

They are not open Sat or Sunday. I am going on monday though to pick up a
down pipe for my exhaust (to be modified for racing). The offer still stands
to borrow mine for testing purposes...
