I'm in the process of rewiring my car and during the teardown I shot some pics and thought I'd make a guide to some common relay locations. The car is a 92 turbo sedan but these should be applicable to most of our cars. Sorry if the colors are hard to read, they seemed to be the ones that showed up the best. Hope this helps someone someday!

This is a little more zoomed in than the box in pic one indicates, I know. For reference the off white box to the right and slightly below the horn relay is the fuse box under the dash on the left side of the drives foot well

Nice work. Could you post a pic with the screw and bolt points that hold the whole panel in ?

Panel? do you mean the fuse panel or the bracket that holds the fuel pump and ignition relay? There is also a bracket that holds the horn and blower relay too.

Now I don't have to hunt around for the horn relay. This has saved me hours already and I've done nothing yet,

The whole dash panel.
That thing that stretches from driver door to passenger door, and from the windshield, to the drivers and passengers legs and has the radio, heater controls, glove box, instrument cluster, switches and all that stuff on it. That thing that is removed in the upper pictures to reveal all the wires and relays behind it.

Ah, well that would be a whole lot more pics and for a different forum. But I suppose I could do a write up when I reinstall the dash, but that wont be for awhile yet. I'm still gathering parts and laying out components of the harness.

how do i get to the ign relay?

Very small hands. Gotta reach way up there above the ecu.
