RS Turbo Airconditioning

I wonder if you guys can help me out. Does anyone know whether a WRX airconditioner compressor bolts onto the RS Liberty? I think the WRX compressor is a Zexel and the RS is Nippondenso. I have heard the RS compressor taked a lot more power out of the engine than tthe WRX compressor. Is this true?
