The answer is not the intercooler being the restriction, (clip). Second the
injectors and water spray on the intercooler will make a great difference.
You will easily be able to crank 12-13 psi into that intercooler, just

the sprayer needs to cool the core prior to boosting, if you try to
cool it during boost it will make hardly any difference.



Hey Daniel, did you pick up on the fact Ross is talking about
AIR-TO-WATER ?
Are you certain you want to talk about water spray cooling the core
of an
air-to-water intercooler, which has the core immersed in water? There
may be a
slight advantage to spraying the water radiator, but this seems a bit
much.

If you have any info about the old standard Turbo Legacy air-to-water
cooler,
I have been trying to find out the purpose and hook up for the wire
off the top.

I wasn't entirely sure which intercooler he was using, you are right
it wouldn't make a great difference unless the water being sprayed
was nice and cold.

But keep in mind that you will need stronger hoses or they will just
split or blow off.

I am not sure what that is used for, I am not sure that this is on
the NZ Legacy's.
