What engine & trans mounts are you running? When I ran the STi hardeneded trans mount I noticed it raised the trans up slightly and I had to bend the trans mount a little bit to get the fitment I needed.

IIRC, factory downpipes are slightly different between 5-speeds and automatics. I don't know how 3rd party downpipes are designed, but I can see the possibility of interference or mismatch.

HKS catless flat flange DP for the bug eye WRX fits perfectly. Though I'd go with the invidia if I had the chance, which many on here are using.

I am running the EJ22T w/ 5spd. I do have a group n mount just waiting to get my car back. I have heard that the HKS DP works well but now that i have confirmation i think thats how im going to go.

I have a CNT Racing (ebay) meant for a 05 Legacy GT and it fit perfect with no issues. Has been a great downpipe for 3 years now.
