93 Legacy sedan FWD flywheel and clutch questions

Hi everyone,

After searching I could not seem to find the answers I needed. I have a 93 legacy sedan that I'm swapping my EJ22T into and also converting it from FWD AUTO to FWD MANUAL. I'm running into conflicting information on several parts of this tranny conversion so I would like to clarify:

-will my lightweight ACT flywheel meant for 1998 Impreza AWD 2.2 fit properly with FWD application?
-what clutch can I use for a cable driven FWD?
-will it hold stock power from a EJ22T?

I'm so close to having everything and these are the last questions I've had trouble answering definitively. I have found one person who used a 98 RS flywheel and pressure plate and disc with his EJ22T FWD swap and says it works great. But I'm curious if that's the only combo that works and why? Please Help! Thank you!

Jeremy

Pretty much any 5spd flywheel will work. If you want to stay with the cable driven setup then you just need to look for a clutch setup that works with the push style clutch/pressure plate.

The ACT flywheel you have should work fine.
