so ever since i replaced my clutch about 25-30000 miles ago, ive had a relatively slow leak out the back of my transmission. it slings fluid of the driveshaft and i guess its comin from the transmission rear main seal?? i hardly affects the fluid level in the tranny, so i havent worried about it a whole bunch, but id like to fix it. any ideas on what it could be?

How does the slip yoke look on the drive shaft? Any wear?
I went through that with my wife's car last year. I thought it was a bad seal so I replaced it. 10k later, leaking again, so I let it leak till time to have it freshened up. What I found was, there's a bushing in the rear tail housing that was bad and wore out my slip yoke therefor the seal leaked.
It could be a bad dried out cracked seal.

gotcha, was that a complicated fix or was it pretty straight forward?

I replaced the whole tail housing, because Subaru no longer sales the bushing by itself you have to buy the tail housing w/bushing. But if you can find a used housing with a good bushing I would go that route.
To remove the housing it can be done with transmission still in the car. You will need to remove the shifter linkage off the selector shaft to get the rear housing off. After that it should be pretty straight forward.
Also I replaced the front half of my driveline with a good slip yoke.
But I would inspect your yoke first before spending the time looking for parts and tearing the rear housing off.
