where on like can i order a new one? i tried google and keeps sending me to sites that talk about them. i need to order one. trien to avoid a dealership

You'll probably need to get that from a dealer or try and find a used one in the parts shed; or possibly a local junkyard.

Look for an auto Legacy at a junk yard. You should be able to find at least one. Check with the dealer to just see if there is one in stock and how much the part costs.
