Oxidation outside

The oxidation on the headlights is almost Always on the outside, so it can be polished off.

I was once told from a Camary owner that if you use
toothpaste on the headlights it will clean it up. Not
sure if he knew what he was talking about or if he was
blowing smoke out of multiple holes.

Yes that will work because toothpaste is slightly abrasive.

Might take you a while.

If you go to your local windscreen repair shop they will have glass
polish, use that.
