AC low pressure switch question

Can I replace the AC pressure switch with out losing a lot of refrigerant or does the whole dryer need to be replaced?

I have an NOS dryer with the switch. Never used. And I have a diagnosis af a bad Pressure switch so I was hoping I could just change out the pressure switch instead of paying to have the whole system evacuated and the dryer switched out and then refilled with refrigerant.

Any opinions??

You will lose your charge when the pressure switch is removed. You need to have it evacuated and refilled to replace that switch. Throw the new dryer in there while you're at it.
