Hi everybody, I am new here, and it is my first post.
I am french, living actually in Africa (Gabon), and happy owner (in France) of a old Legacy Turbo 1993, with around 370.000km ! I bought this great car, and I am now trying too make it better and better to handle and to ride. I want to preserve the sleeper style and the oem aspect...

Here is the question of the day : My Legacy is a french car, with a 1,5din hole for the stereo. In your american cars, The stereo place semms to be bigger, around 2,5din. There is a cup-holder and no more watch.

This configuration looks me ideal, because I would like to conserve my stereo (old school Alpine 7944R...), my turbo timer Apexi and to add a Defi Din gauge...

Is it possible to buy the american center bezel, and to put it in my car ?
Do you know where it is possible to buy the necessary parts ?

yeah, and I need maybe the complete fitting kit, if something exists ! I think I need cup holder, center bezel, and bigger brackets for the stereo... 1,5din is not the same than 2,5din ! I hope it fits....

I have to change mine, and this one looks very clean and not too big...

I'm packing up to go out of town for the weekend. I don't have a problem shipping small stuff like this internationally. Shipping is going to be quite spend tho. For just the items and my time, I would like 30 us for everything. I wouldn't be able to get a quote for 4 days tho.

This scoop is setting I made out of 1/16" sheet metal and a vinyl wrap over it. It's a reverse scoop with slats bent down to draw heat out of the bay.

If you're looking for special parts we find in Europe, I know lots of garages with incredible stocks of great parts...

I'd possibly be in the market for some edm tail lights in the summer if they had the cool rear fog.. Not too sure yet.

ok, with some pictures and parts numbers, everything is possible. In Europe, it's easy too to find an AWIC, and all the parts needed. I have a friend in Switzerland, who has a garage dedicated to our Legacy turbo (BC/BF). He has everything about you can dream...

Welcome to the BBS.

As others have noted, I think all you'll need is the bezel surround and cup holder. You may want to check on whether the screws holding the top bezel are the same. I have a few pictures in my 6spd swap pictures when I took out the dash. There are a few pictures of the center bezel piece and the main bracket inside the dash for the stereo.

A little question... I saw your autoradio on a picture... Is-it what it looks ? Is it a Alpine 7944 ? It's one of the best ever made by Alpine ! I have the same... it sounds great !

It's a 7940, I bought it from a buddy over 10 years ago. I've been happy with that head unit. I have thought about upgrading to a newer model to get Bluetooth integration & hands free phone....but I'm not sure.

Do you know what the 7944 adds that the 7940 didn't have? I had not heard that the 7944 was Alpine's best head unit.

I had an old 7827 head unit and for what it was, that thing was rock solid!
