ECU ground for NA legacy

On my turbo there were several ground that attached the back of the intake manifold on the driver side below the fuel rail, one of them being the ECU ground. But on my NA car there are not any wires that attach there. So where is the ECU ground on an NA car?

It should be in the exact same spot. So either someone has modified the engine harness or didn't hook it up. Or Subaru did something funky.
Is the engine from a 90 Legacy or another year/model?

it was from a 90. Sorry I should have posted back on here to elaborate. I should have caught this when I did head gaskets but someone had attached the ground to the mounting bolt for one of the fuel lines that goes under the intake manifold to the passenger side. It was attached but out of sight and not in the normal location. I suppose the car would not have run at all without the major harness ground

Did you move the ground back to the normal spot or leave it alone?

I moved it back to where it belongs and added a supplementary ground to negative terminal of the battery just to make sure. Also added some other "grounding mod'' locations as well.
