I know this is a little late, but I was gone all last week, and come back to 84 messages in this group ;) You guys really talk alot...hehe

Anyway, some were right about the button, some were wrong. The manual button only works when the gear selector is in three or two. It keeps the transmission from going into first gear. It was meant so that on slipperier surfaces you could start off in second gear, have less torque and less likely chance of spinning the wheels. Again it only works in three and two. It does nothing in D or 1st, other than make the light go on ;)

hmmm, I'm not sure, but from what you said..."Hold" I would assume yes it is the same.

That's what I thought, the car drives totally different with the
button on, braking & acceleration is not as good due to I imagine the
lack of torque split from front to rear.
