1993 Legacy SS won't rev

Car starts and runs okay, idle is a little low. Under WOT the car will rev and then hit a wall around 4-5k rpm. The car revs better when given partial throttle and under load in first gear the car barely runs at all. I replaced the maf (not OEM, Delphi) and am wondering where to look next. The gas tank was also pressurizing quickly. Any thoughts are appreciated.
