I just got a quick question. Would removing this help get more air into the engine or is it important for this to be on? I have a US 93' Turbo Wagon. Thanks for the help.

Removing Cover under Air Scoop

I just took mine off yesterday. Many RS guys take them off very
soon, as well as either removing, or adding spacers to the corner
vents. Even in heavy rain, not many problems have been reported.

Besides, my engine bay gets so incredibly hot that it has to be an
improvement.
